Everton 5/10/14

Back to back wins! Falcaos first goal, Di Maria getting better with each game and a fantastic performance from De Gea to keep us in the game. Chelsea and City loom ever closer though and you would expect both to beat us comfortably with our defence playing as it is.

West Ham 27/9/14

Hung on towards the end after Rooney's red card. The forward line is coming together with RVP and Rooney on the scoresheet but the back line continues to change thanks to yet more injuries. Good debut performances for Shaw & McNair but a consistent back 4 will be needed as the harder games get closer.

Swansea 16/8/14

So another new era starts but the result and pattern of play is the same as last season. New signings required and all eyes will be on Ed Woodward until the end of August.

QPR 14/9/14

So after the loosening of the purse strings in the transfer window, the performance did not disappoint although to be fair, QPR were poor and we will face much stiffer opposition this season. Still, a good start and Di Maria and Blind were particularly impressive.

Fulham 9/2/14

81 crosses and only 18 connected to a United head. What happened to a variety of play? A draw against the bottom team conceding in stoppage time. Sums up the season
